Alice T. Rogers, 85, retired Dallas County teacher, native of Selma and resident of Fairburn, Georgia, passed away March 18, 2016, in Fayetteville, Georgia. Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Otis D. Culliver officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. She is survived by son, William Rogers of College Park, Georgia; daughter, Cynthia Mitchell of Fairburn, Georgia; sister, Rebecca Jennings of Atlantic City, New Jersey; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law.
