Luther Lawrence Smith passed away March 22, 2016, at the age of 61. He was born January 20, 1955, to the late Mary Smith and surviving Joe (Shirley) Smith Sr.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Sexton Smith, and sisters, Marie Stewart and Teresa Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy (Roy) Freine; grandchildren, Justin (Kayla) Freine and Mallory Joyce Freine; brothers, Joe (Jean) Smith Jr. and Aubrey (Margaret) Smith; sisters, Susie (John) McConnell; sister-in-law, Paula Neihoff; and a host of nieces and nephews.
