Cleveland Theoplilus Edwards, 65, of Selma, passed away March 13, 2016, in Montgomery. Services are scheduled for March 19, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steve Burton with Dr. Billy Marshall of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. He is preceded in death by his father, Almus Edwards Jr.; mother, Annie Lue Brown Edwards; brother, John T. Edwards; sisters, Lillian Beard and Mary Tabb.

He is survived by his spouse, Marcia McMillan Edwards; son, Clemanzo Jamarr Edwards; daughter, Marlecia Autrey; brothers, Roosevelt (Susie) Edwards, James Edwards, Orlando Edwards, and Roy C. (Shirley) Edwards; sisters, Ethel Hood, Betty (Levi) Varner, Barbara (Howard) Bryant, Cindy Owens, and Dr. Fannie McBowin; seven brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
