Mr. Moses P. Shears resident of Selma passed March 5, 2016, at Vaughn Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Fredrick Hardy,officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. Survivors include his wife Gloria Shears, two sons Moses Shears, Jr. and  Chadwick Shears, two daughters Tashana Shears and Chasity Shears,one grandson Moses Shears III. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church.
