Dear editor,

The Edmundite Mission Society would be a a great partner for the Brown YMCA. They are a bright and shining light in this dim and dark community.

Their senior program is great and the feeding programs are growing in leaps and bounds. They have made great investments in this neighborhood as they continue to bring hope and prosperity to the less fortunate and downtrodden members of this community.

The Edmundites are a firm and solid stakeholder here in Dallas County.

I would like to see the Edmundites serve as the leader for the Brown Y. They are well-established, familiar with the neighborhood, visible and well-grounded in the spirit of Jesus Christ with their love for the underserved and less fortunate among us.

I believe the Brown Y would be a wonderful project for them to renovate, remodel, repair, etc. and revitalize it to its former prominence with programs that will improve the quality of life for our children that are in great need.
