The car of a 28-year-old Clarke County man reported missing Jan. 31 has been found in Wilcox County.
Hy’Shawn Curry’s silver BMW was found Sunday in the Yellow Bluff Community.
A resident called police after noticing the strange car in the neighborhood.
Wilcox County Sheriff Earnest Evans said the investigation is ongoing, and no other information about the case can be released at this time.
He said he and other officers will be doing their part to see if Curry is in the Wilcox area.
“We’re still looking for Mr. Curry in that area of where the vehicle was located,” Evans said. “We’re just looking for him in general, wherever he may be.”
Anyone with information about the case or car should contact the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department at (251) 275-3773 or Evans at the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Department at (334) 682-9115.
