The Selma Saints lost for the second time in three games Tuesday night against Demopolis.

The Tigers squeaked out a 31-30 victory as Selma struggled at the free throw line.  The Saints were just 3-for-13 from the charity stripe but remained in the game due to a big night from Areyana Williams.

Williams scored 14 points and had nine rebounds and was the only Saints’ player in double figures.

“We played well enough to win, but if you miss free throws you can’t win [anything],” said Selma head coach Anthony Harris.

The Selma boys also lost to Demopolis, falling 64-52.
