Mrs. Mary Jane Jones, 74, of Selma, passed away Jan. 2, 2016, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her spouse; two brothers, Joseph Thomas and Willie Thomas; and one sister, Stewardie Mae Sanders.

She is survived by her parents, Will and Lucy Thomas; five sons, James Jones, Calvin Jones, Jeffery Jones, Jerel Jones and Darrell Jones; three daughters, Patricia Morrison, Jenifer Jones, Cathy Farrish; two brothers, Bernie Thomas and Samuel Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Rosie Thomas and Ruth Bert of St. Louis, Missouri; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Cemetery.
