Lamar “Mark” Cockrell, 62, of Selma, passed away Dec. 27, 2015 at his home. Services are scheduled for Jan. 2, 2016 at noon at St. Paul Community Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Coleman, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Pineview with Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Cockrell; father, Wilbert Moultrie; two sons, Lamar Cockrell, Jr. and Brian Dixon; four daughters, Chakkera Major, Ebony (Patrick) Pickett, Brandie Calhoun, and Pre’Onda Calhoun; four brothers, Carl (Rosemary) Cockrell, Harry (Betty) Reese, Terry Reese, and Donnie Moultrie; six sisters, Arfletia (Lorenzo) McGuire, Della (Ralph) Tarver, Robin Reese, Shelia Murphy, Gail Moultrie, and Cheryl Moultrie; three grandchildren; one son-in-law; one daughter-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; nine nieces; six nephews; mother-in-law, Lula Morgan.
