Sea Coast Disposal registration days and town hall meetings about the changes will be continuing in January.

Ward 7 sign up will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, at R.B. Hudson Middle School located at 1701 Summerfield Road from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Ward 8 sign up will be held on Saturday, Jan. 9, at Sophia P. Kingston Elementary School at 2224 Selma Avenue from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

For those who cannot make the sign up dates, forms are available online at www.seacoastdisposal.com and can be brought to the temporary office located at 521 Bell Road from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. or mailed to P.O. Box 365 Selma, AL 36701.

The permanent office location for Selma is located on 212-B Highland Ave. and will be available after next week.

The deadline to register for service is Jan. 14 with payment. Sea Coast Disposal will be delivering carts on Jan. 15 to those who have successfully registered.

The first payment required is $40 for February and March service. Payments afterwards will be $60 quarterly.

There will be three Town Hall meetings for January:

Jan. 4, 6 p.m. at Payne Elementary, 1529 Franklin Street.

Jan. 11, 6 p.m. at Morgan Academy, 2901 West Dallas Ave.

Jan. 19, 6 p.m. at R.B. Hudson Middle School, 1701 Summerfield Road.
