Donald Henry Tyus Sr., age 76, of Autaugaville, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015.

He is preceded by his parents, Golson and Annie Rea Tyus and brother, Ronald Tyus.

Mr. Tyus is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Marie Tyus; son, Donald Henry (Melissa) Tyus Jr.; daughters, Donna Marie (David) Rawlinson and Debra (David “Dabo”) Bennett; brother, Harold Tyus; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, at Tyus Garden of Angels Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Donald James Tyus, Joseph Wayne Tyus, David Randall Rawlinson, Randall Tyus Rawlinson, David Rawlinson and David Bennett.
