Trudy B. Averhart, 73, of Selma, passed away Dec. 5, 2015, at Vaughan Regional. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, at noon at East Salem Baptist Church with Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by three sons, Curtis (Kathy) Averhart of Jonesboro, Ga., Eddie (Candy) Averhart of Plano, Texas, and Ricky L. Averhart of Selma; three brothers, James A. Averhart of Selma, James Lee (Rena) Walker of Montevallo and Tommy (Gloria) Walker of Birmingham; five sisters, See Bell Averhart, Lillie (Albert) Cunningham, Emma (Billy) Sanders, Brenda (Charlie) Walker and Diane Walker-Harrison, all of Selma; four nieces; one nephew; one uncle; one aunt; and a host of cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Quentin Averhart, Mario Dosey, Antonio Dosey, Shane Washington, Jamel Mixson and Christopher Raymond.
