Hilda Estelle Player, age 80, of Valley Grande, passed away Nov. 24, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan S. Player; and parents, Clifton and Emma Thomas.

Surviving are her children, Delores (Mike) Atkinson, Gerald (Diane) Player, Kathy (Don) Harvell and Jennifer Chandler; brothers, Roger (Nancy) Thomas and George (Bennie) Thomas; sisters, Adele Tanner, Emma (Gary) Alexander and Lyn Fletcher; grandchildren, Donna (Michael) Mock, Johnathan (Amy) Player, Joseph (Melissa) Atkinson, Jared (Brittany) Chandler, Kathryn (Parks) Gettys and Kristen Chandler; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Johnathan Player officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Michael Mock, Parks Gettys, Jared Chandler, Hubert Carmack, Joe Atkinson and Wayne Thomas. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Smith.
