Donald L. Rose passed away Nov. 12, 2015, at the age of 78. He was born March 29, 1937, to the late Joshua and Bell Rose.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Rose; son, Steven L. (Tammy) Rose; daughter, Angela R. (Billy) Pitts; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, J.B. Rose and Joseph Rose; and sister, Corene Harris.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Cory Horton and the Rev. Guy Anderson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be deacons of Elkdale Baptist Church.
