Alabama State Troopers have identified a 20-year-old Selma woman that was killed in a single vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 80 Thursday afternoon and three others that were injured.

State Troopers identified the 20-year-old as Tiesha Monique Blevins. The other passengers were identified as 16-year-old Nyeisha Winston, 19-year-old Kemira Shantel Johnson and 21-year-old Breanna Nicole Mitchell.

According to a press release from Alabama State Senior Trooper Gary Daniel, Blevins was killed when the 2000 Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Blevins, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. Winston and Johnson, who also were not wearing seatbelts, were also ejected from the vehicle.

According to Daniel, the two teenagers were airlifted to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, while Mitchell was transported to Baptist South as well.

Their condition as of Friday evening is unclear, and the severity of their injuries has not been released.

According to Daniel, the crash happened three miles West of Selma. Investigators are still trying to determine what happened to cause Blevins to lose control of the vehicle.

Dallas County Coroner Alan Dailey said the accident happened on the 5500 block of U.S. Highway 80, which is between Dallas County Road 44 and Alabama Highway 219.

Daniel said Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate what happened.
