Viva L. Poe, age 78, of Selma, passed away Nov. 11, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Poe; parents, Vernon and Dollie Mae Hunter; daughter, Gwendolyn Jones; brother, Vernon Hunter and sister, Sandra J. Royster.

Surviving are her children, Stanley Barnette, Alan (Wanda) Barnette and Janet (Ricky) Allday; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10 a.m.
