Henry W. Shannon Jr., 73, of Selma, passed away Oct. 15, 2015, at his home. Services are scheduled for Oct. 31, 2015, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist with the Rev. Thomas J. Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Dr. Henry cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his son, Henry W. Shannon III; daughter, Barbara Shannon Shark; three brothers, Herbert Shannon Sr., the Rev. Harry Shannon and Edward Shannon; sister, Mary Ann Morton; and three grandchildren.
