EDITOR’S NOTE: Below are recaps from the Selma Recreation Department’s youth football league. These are provided by the recreation department and published as often as possible. Age groups are listed in parenthesis.
Oct. 19
Seahawks 18, Vikings 0
DaCarlos Moore scored on a 51-yard, 53-yard and 11-yard touchdown runs as the Seahawks defeated the Vikings 18-0. The Seahawks led 12-0 at halftime and remained in front by that score until Moore’s fourth quarter touchdown.
Bengals 16, Pee Wee Seahawks 0
Nicholas Thomas scored on 54-yard and 6-yard touchdown runs as the Bengals upended the Pee Wee Seahawks.
Oct. 24
Dolphins 6, Jr. Seahawks 0
Geequail Garner scored on an 80-yard run in the first quarter and the Dolphins held on from there for a 6-0 win over the Jr. Seahawks
Jets 22, Seahawks 6
Chico Madison scored the first two touchdowns for the Jets in a 22-6 victory over the Seahawks. Madison scored on 40-yard and 42-yard runs. Rodrick Myles also scored on a 60-yard touchdown run.
Joshua Brown scored two two-point conversions for the Jets, who led 22-0 at halftime. Anthony Lumpkin Jr. scored on a 50-yard run for the Seahawks.
Jr. Dolphins 24, Jr. Cowboys 6
Quemarian Pernell scored two first half touchdowns to lead the Jr. Dolphins past the Jr. Cowboys 24-6. Pernell scored on 40-yard and 16-yard touchdown runs and Lester Jones added an 8-yard run. Omari Smith also had two two-point conversions for the Jr. Dolphins.
The Jr. Dolphins led 24-0 at halftime. The Jr. Cowboys’ lone touchdown was scored by Jacobie Reese.
Bobcats 14, Rams 12
DeWayne Porter and Kedrick Jackson scored first half touchdowns as the Bobcats defeated the Rams 14-12.
Tyrese Tabb ran for a 57-yard touchdown in the second quarter and a 66-yarder in the fourth quarter.
Vikings 20, Falcons 0
The Vikings scored two second quarter touchdowns and added a fourth quarter touchdown rush in a 20-0 win over the Falcons.

Lions 26, Pee Wee Bobcats 0
Erick Smith scored on touchdown runs of 38 and 15-yards as the Lions blew out the Pee Wee Bobcats 26-0.
Raquez Broadnax ran for a 65-yard touchdown in the third quarter and Jesse Fullenwilder aldded a 50-yard touchdown.
