The Dixie Flips Gymnastics Team spent Sept. 25-27 in Montgomery competing at the United Gymstars Festival of Stars. The level 3’s competed Friday with age division Jr. A, made up of Brooke Egbert placing tenth on vault, eleventh on bars, eighth on beam, tenth on floor and ninth in all-around.  Cameran Duncan placed eighth on vault, ninth on bars, eleventh on beam, eleventh on floor and tenth in all-around. Keenan Lee McHugh competed in the Jr. B division and placed thirteenth on vault, bars and beam, 13th on floor and 13th in all-around. Ruth Stevens was in the Sr. A division and placed tenth on vault, bars and floor, and 11th on beam and all around.

Evey Craig competed on Saturday in the level 4 meet and placed tenth on vault, 11th on bars, 11th on beam, 12th on floor and 11th in all-around.

The level 2 gymnasts competed on Sunday in three age divisions. Jr. A had Madalyn Stevens placing third on vault, third on bars, first on beam, fourth on floor and second in all-around.

Addie Fancher placed seventh on vault, ninth on bars, seventh on beam, fifth on floor and eighth in all-around.  In division Jr. B, Hadley Verhoff placed second on vault, sixth on bars, fifth on beam, seventh on floor, and fourth in all-around.

Molly Bohannon placed eighth on vault, ninth on bars, third on beam, fifth on floor, and sixth in all-around.  Alyssa McCLoud placed seventh on vault, eighth on bars, ninth on beam, first on floor and eighth in all-around.

Shyana Montoro, Sr. B division, placed seventh on vault, ninth on bars, tenth on beam, fourth on floor and ninth in all-around.

The Dixie Flips will compete in October at the Tuscaloosa Tumbling Tides annual Fliptanic Invitational.
