Benjamin Martin Smyly Jr., age 44, of Selma, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015.

He is survived by his brother, Robin Smyly; and sister-in-law Bettie Smyly of Marion; children, Katherine Dañelle Smyly of Montevallo, Benjamin Martin Smyly III, Talon Feyd Smyly, Mina Calelle Smyly and Baden Fynn Smyly; nephews, Robin Eric Smyly Jr., Austin Smyly; and special friends, Kimberly Kay Harris, Tracey Miley, Stacey Shadrick, John Latham, Angrish Southall III, Jenifer Demonbreum and Karan Milam.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn King officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Angrish Southall III, John Latham, Tracy Miley, Alvin Bolden, Gary Moss, Darryl Davis, Larry Cook and Robert Watts.
