Beverly Garrett Spears, of Selma, passed away Sept. 27, 2015, at Warren Manor Nursing Home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Miller’s Chapel. Burial will follow in Harrison cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Don B. Garrett and Oneather Garrett. She is survived by her son, Trevon Parker Spears of Selma; four brothers, Don B. Garrett II, James E. Garrett, Edward J. Kidd and Anthony E. Garrett of Fort Pierce, Florida; five sisters, Mary Alice Dunmars of Chicago, Illinois, Josie M. Simpson of Fort Pierce, Florida, Annie M. Jones of Vero Beach, Florida, Pearlie M. Lyde of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Angela Garrett of Selma; special friend, Anita Mitchell of Montgomery.st
