Roger Wayne Cope passed away Sept. 26, 2015, at the age of 53.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Clyde W. Bender; and brother, Clyde Bender Jr.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Wayne Cope; mother, Ruby Bender; brother, John Bender and sister, Beverly Eggert.

Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment followed in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral beginning at 10 a.m.
