Corinne Jeanette Godwin Hollingshead, born Nov. 3, 1923, in Okeechobee, Florida to the late Oliver and Lottie Godwin, passed away Sept. 25, 2015, at the age of 91.

Corinne was the valedictorian of her class at Okeechobee High School.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Watt Hollingshead and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, James C. Hollingshead (Diane), of Huntsville, David W. Hollingshead (Linda) of Jacksonville, Florida, Richard E. Hollingshead (Judy) of Sardis; grandsons, Robert James (Sarah) Hollingshead of Somerville and Brian Keith McDougald (Wahoo) of Snowden; granddaughter; Candace (Ben) Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida; great grandchildren; Katie McDougald, Thor Hollingshead and James Legend Hollingshead of Snowden and sister-in-law; Gladys Middleton of Selma.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery Church with Dr. David Thomas officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at the Funeral Home
