Mr. James Brooks, resident of Birmingham, native of Marion, passed Sept. 6, 2015, at his residence. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Marion Baptist Academy, with the Rev. Odis Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church.
