Mr. Sam Johnson Jr., 76, of Selma, passed away Aug. 23, 2015, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. at New Selmont Baptist with pastor Chester Purifoy officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery in Selma with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary Johnson; sons, Carl (Rosland) Johnson and Earnold (Stephanie) Johnson; daughters, Sandra (Austin) Edinborough and Valerie (Sam) Hankins; brothers, Earl Johnson, Lee Ernest (Vivian) Johnson and Jessie Johnson; sister, Mary Nell Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.
