Margaret Turner Wood Lindsey, age 85, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Leak Memory Chapel from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Ivy Creek Cemetery with burial following. The Rev. Edward Eaton will be officiating. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Harmon Wood and Raymond Lindsey and her sons, Joseph Harmon Wood, Jr., and John Huey Wood. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Wood Durden (Pete); daughter-in-law, Norma Wood; brother, Douglas Turner; sister, Donna Eldridge; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Don Durden, Doug Durden, Lamar Durden, Travis Cardin, Rick Wood and Robin Wood. A special thank you to the staff of John Knox Nursing Home for their constant and devoted care.
