Mr. James “Sam” Goree, resident of Marion, passed July 10, 2015, at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. George Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Church Cemetery with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church.
