Johnnie Carl Watson Sr. of Semmes, and formerly of Selma passed away May 31, 2015.

He was part of the Selma Fire Department for 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jayne Watson; parents, Carl and Vera Watson and brother-in-law, Myles Hooks.
He is survived by his sons, Johnnie C. “Robbie” (Denise) Watson, Jr. and Shannon Lee (Lisa) Watson; grandchildren, Brittney Holifield, Cody Watson, Kyrissa Watson, Gregory Watson, Bryce Watson, Ashley Watson, Kailey Watson and Sebastian Watson; great grandchildren, Kyli Holifield, Madilyn Holifield and Marilyn Watson; sister, Patricia W. Hooks and many cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with James Small, Jr. officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nix, Lee Peake, Jr., Bruce Hatch, James Small, Mike Warren, Jerry Martin, Charles Kilgore and Bobby Williams.
