Mr. Johnnie G. Jemison, 77, of Selma, passed away May 23, 2015, at Warren Manor Nursing Facility.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Kirk Ellison Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens in Selma with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by three sons, Ricky (Barbara) Jemison, Atkin Jemison and Tyrone Johnson; five daughters, Gloria Jemison-Richardson, Gwendolyn LeSure (Earl) Simmons, Edna Jemison-Savage, Brenda Jemison and Sharon Jemison; four brothers, James (Betty) Jemison, Calvester Jemison, McArthur (Lefloris) Jemison and Fredrick (Rose) Jemison; five sisters, Doris Jemison-Johnson, Mae Lois Jemison-Pettaway, Helen Jemison (Leroy) Stewart, Bernice Jemison (James) Polnitz and Gloria Simmons; two aunts, Fannie Jemison (Ceasar) Carlise and Earnestine Griffin; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
