John Eugene Pomeroy, age 86, of Plantersville, passed away May 19, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Pomeroy. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kay Pomeroy; children, Buford Pomeroy, Phila Blaylock, Scott (Kelly) Pomeroy and LeAnn (Tim) Crawford; grandchildren, Drew Pomeroy, John Pomeroy, Kaysie (Wesley) Wilkins, Brent (Molly) Crawford, Alie (Jeffry) Burt, Lauren (Jeremy) Logan and Lindsay (Meng) Ung; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Plantersville Christian Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating.
