Mrs. Josephine T. Owens, age 85, of Selma, passed away May 12, 2015, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. at New Selmont Baptist Church with the Rev. George Bennett Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy J. Owens, Valerie O. Owens and Rosetta West; twin brother, Joe (Corine) Thomas; sister, Georgia M. Foster; eight grandchildren, Chauncey (Felicia) Owens, Travia (Rafel) Jones, Chelsie J. Perry, Carmella West, Dondi West-Glover, Aretha West, Lashawn West and Gerri West; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
