Joe C. Tubbs, resident of Newbern, passed May 6, 2015, at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Reynolds Chapel Church in Newbern, with the Rev. Roger Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tubbs Family Cemetery with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church. Viewing will be held Friday, May 15, 2015, at the funeral home from 12-6 p.m.
