Selma native Will Swift and teammate Lew Mitchell missed the cut in the U.S. Amateur Four Ball golf championship at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif.

Swift and Mitchell put themselves in a tough position after an opening round 75 where they managed just one birdie. The duo played much better on the second day and shot 72, but missed the cut by eight shots.

The four ball championship was won by Nathan Smith and Todd White.
