Charles Cleveland Hicks, age 71, of Valley Grande, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015.

He is preceded by his parents: Woodrow and Annie Hicks; sister: Mary Nalley; and son: Jonathan Hicks. Mr. Hicks is survived by his son: Chris Hicks; daughters: Tammy Anthony (George) and Amanda Headley (Rickey); brothers: Leonard Hicks (Peggy), Albert Hicks (Ann); 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Tim Solomon, Tim Headley, Henry Helms, Ted Smith; honorary will be Charles Spencer.
