Michael Sanders, age 49, of Selma, passed away March 11, 2015, at Baptist Center South Hospital in Montgomery. Services are scheduled for March 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Miller’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Wells and the Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Sr. Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Frances Wells; parents, late Mattie Lee Sanders and Willie George Sanders II; two sons, Michael Leon Sanders Jr. and Michael L Powell; three daughters, Nickie Jackson, Shalonda Walker and Renita Roderick; three brothers, Willie George Sanders III, Mack Coleman and Andre Coleman; six sisters, Peggy Walker, Christine Caffey, Vivian Levins, Cynthia Rhodes, Lorretta Jackson and Kathy McNeal; six grandchildren; two sons-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
