Marsha Payne Elkins, 39, of Maplesville, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. She was born Sunday, Dec.  7, 1975, in Dallas County, daughter of Frank Payne and Mary Frith Payne. She was a clerk. Surviving are husband, Jerry Elkins of Jemison; parents, Frank and Mary Payne of Maplesville; brother, Jeff (Angie) Payne of Maplesville; sister, Kim (Tim) Jones of Lawley; step-daughter, Karlee Elkins of Jemison; and niece and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kirk Smith, the Rev. Gervis Smith and the Rev. Lester Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in Medline Baptist Cemetery in Perry County, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
