Mr. Sylvester Smith, age 87, of Selma, passed away Jan. 29, 2015, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Sandridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his daughter, Delia M. Jackson; brother, Samuel Smith; sister, Lula Suttles; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
