Minister Joanne Stockman Taylor, age 64, of New Orleans, La. and formerly of Selma, passed away Dec. 24, 2014, at UAB Hospital. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, at noon at Church of the Living God on Alabama Avenue in Selma. Services will be officiated by Pastor David Stockman. Burial will be in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

She is survived by her spouse, Ronald Taylor Sr.; four sons, Mark (Lenora) Stockman, Kevin (Jennifer) Stockman, James (Sonya) Taylor and Ronald (Valerie) Taylor Jr.; daughter Renee Stockman; three brothers, Emeal Stockman, Pastor David (Brenda) Stockman and John Stockman; two sisters, Anna J. Stockman and Gloria Stockman; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
