Keith junior Morris Collins was named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association all-state team last week.

Collins, a 6-5, 320 pound offensive lineman for the Bears, was the only player within Dallas County to make the team. He was named  second-team all-state.

Collins was joined by teammate Domonique Jones, a sophomore running back from the Bears as an honorable mention.

Sophomore Paul Daniels from Dallas County  was an honorable mention in 4A.

Morgan Academy sophomore John Tyler Fisher and sophomore linebacker J.R. Wood were honorable mentions in AISA. The entire team is on www.selmatimesjournal.com.
