All seven local high schools were included in the vote and every cover choice had at least 370 votes.

Kendrick is the second consecutive Lady Trojans’ player to grace the cover of the magazine, following behind Christina Dabit, who won the vote with Dallas County’s William Lee last year.

The Hoopla magazine will be published during the final week of November and will preview the basketball seasons of Dallas County’s seven high schools and three collegiate programs.
