The streets of Selma were anything but empty this weekend as residents from near and far enjoyed the weekend activities the city had to offer.
Those looking to have some fun following what may have been a long, stressful week had plenty of options, such as ArtRevive’s Alabama Tale-Tellin’ Festival, the Concordia College Alabama Homecoming Parade, Integrity Worldwide’s 5K and Dallas County High School Parent/Teacher Organization’s bass fishing tournament.
Whether the activities were meant raise money for a great cause, like the 5K, or just entertain onlookers, like the parade, they all allowed residents a chance to come together.
This eventful weekend reminded us that Selma has a lot to offer, and we’re often willing to support one another.
Thanks to the event organizers for providing us with so many outstanding festivities.
