Mr. Sam Hartley, 57, resident of Selma, passed away August 25, 2014 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Miller’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in East Salem Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include son, Samuel Earl Effinger; four daughters, Cassandra Effinger, Amanda Moorer, Cassandra Benjamin, and LaQuanda Effinger; three brothers, James Hartley, Reginald Hartley, and John Hartley; two sisters, Velma Craig and Thelma Towns.
