The second suspect has not been arrested.

“We’re going to do everything to ensure that by the letter of the law, they are charged with the crimes they have committed,” Lt. Curtis Muhannad with the Selma Police Department said.

The arrest was made after the second burglary of the home.

Reported June 2, the first burglary of the home is still under investigation.

Williams and his accomplice used a silver 2006 Toyota Camry belonging to Williams’ mother to allegedly commit the crime, according to Selma Police.

According to a new release, Williams’ mother turned her son in to Selma police after law enforcement arrived at her residence to address the burglary that reportedly involved her son.

One of the stolen televisions was turned in to police Friday, while the other was found behind an abandoned residence near the crime scene, according to the release.

Williams was issued a bond totaling $21,000, but recently made bond.

Third-degree burglary is considered a Class C Felony, while endangerment of a child classified as a Class A misdemeanor.

As of Tuesday afternoon, a bond hearing has not been scheduled for Williams, Muhannad said.
