Ms. Ernie M. Chappell, 87, resident of Cleveland, OH., formerly of Autauga County, passed away July 3, 2014 at McGregor Place, Cleveland, OH. Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church, Jones, AL, officiated by Pastor Robert Childers, Jr. Burial will follow in Harris Cemetery, Jones, AL, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Edmond) Woods and Dottie (Henry) Lanier; brother, Harvey (Viola) Chappell; sister, Cora Knights; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; special ,devoted, and dedicated friend, Mammie Gilcrist.
