Hazel H. Atchison, age 85, of Selma, AL, passed away May 17, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosely Atchison; brothers, Henry Houston, Leighton Houston, Kenneth Houston, Eulin Houston and sisters, Doris Gay and Exelene Nix.

She is survived by her husband, Clifton J. Atchison; daughter, Rita Jordan; brother, Hermon Atchison; grandchildren, Scott (Kelly) Jordan, Eric (Shelley) Jordan and Robin Jordan; great-grandchildren Colton Jordan, Madison Jordan, Evan Jordan and Avery Jordan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Plantersville Baptist Church with Rev. Don Stephens and Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Atchison’s grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Plantersville Baptist Church, 11817 County Road 63 Plantersville, AL 36758.
