Mr. Jimmy Sturdivant, 78, resident of Selma, passed away April 25, 2014 at Warren Manor Nursing Facility. Services are scheduled for May 2, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel, Selma, officiated by Rev. Karl Arthur Lewis. Burial will follow in Craig Hill Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by parents Walter “Jack” and Mamie Sturdivant; three brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Alfred (Vickie) Sturdivant and Walter (Dyanne) Sturdivant II, both of Birmingham, AL; brother, Otis Sturdivant of New York; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
