Ms. Melissa Woods, 45, resident of Selma, passed away March 27, 2014 at Prattville Health System. Services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 , 1:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel, Selma, officiated by Pastor David Perry. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include parents Isabella Woods and Willie Fred Browder; grandmother, Ethel Lee Woods; brothers, Kelvin (Tarmisha) Thomas; aunts, Christine (Willie) Johnson, Febbie Edwards, Daisy (Robert) Moultrie, Joyce (Eric) Ruthledge; uncle, Mose (Barbara) Woods; two nieces, two nephews, cousins, and friends.
