ORRVILLE — Pizza lovers in Orrville will no longer have to travel out of town to order pizza.
The M&M Grocery located on Main Street now features a Hunt Brothers Pizza place inside of the store. Customers quickly crowded the front of the store to order pizza Wednesday morning at the Hunter Brother Pizza’s grand opening.
“It gives our customers a pizza place here,” M&M Grocery storeowner Mintoo Rahman said. “Then they don’t have to go so far to get pizza.”
Hunt Brothers is a family business and Christian-based company that strives to be a blessing in the lives of our many team members, customers, business partners and consumers, according to the company’s website.
The company, which offers pizza, wings and much more, is established in more than 7,000 locations in 28 states, according to their website.
Orrville Mayor Louvenia Lumpkin attended the grand opening to show support and left with a box of pizza.
Lumpkin said the pizza place would bring a financial benefit the Orrville, which she said is greatly appreciated.
“It will help budget revenue increase a little,” Lumkpin said. “Anytime you can increase your revenue in a small town, then it means a lot.”
Jermaine Sanders, who is a regular customer at M&M Grocery, said he was glad to find out about the new addition. As a pizza lover, he appreciates the convenience of not having to travel to Selma to enjoy quality, affordable pizza.
“It’s good, because it’s on sale,” Sanders said with a laugh as he held a fresh slice of pizza.
