Mr. Johnnie Walker, 57, resident of Selma, passed away February 8, 2014 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Summer Grove Church officiated by Rev. Pastor Wil Jackson. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse, Debra Walker; mother, Mattie Peak; two sons, Nathan Blake, Prattville, AL, and Lorenzo Walker, Selma, AL; brothers, Herman Peak, Chicago, IL., Ralph Tarver, FT. Washington, Maryland, Willie Tarver, Bert Tarver, both from New Orleans; three sisters, Laura Norris, Calumet City, Illinois, Rose Walker, Selma, Alabama, and Charlene Tarver, New Orleans; eight grandchildren, eight nieces, eleven nephews; aunts, Bessie M. Vasser, Annie B. Walker; uncle, Wilmer Walker; cousins, Ronnie Walker, Joann McConico, Jerri Nelson, Rosemary Chappell, and Samuel Walker.
