Hugh Ronnie Davis, age 67, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away February 3, 2014.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Murvis Davis and brother, Edward Davis.

Surviving are his wife, Melody Davis; children, Ronnie E. (Nancy) Davis, Susan Bedgood and Tim Davis; sisters, Shirley Bush, Mary Ann Payne, Sandra (Richard) Lawley and Jean (Jessie) Christian; sister-in-law, Vicki Davis; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Harris and Brother John Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Stanton, AL with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 5-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Shane Davis, Daryl Payne, Dillan Cooper, Clint Cooper, Matthew Smiley and Tony Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be John A. Reese, Art Day, Gil Thistrup, Ted Hicks and Jessie Christian.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church.
